product description
New Keyless Repeater – Relay Attack 3D Ghost 250M
Relay Attack 3D Ghost 250M is a new powerful relay system with a maximum support list of 2024.
The Relay Attack Ghost 250M easily increases the Keyless Go/Entry range from 40 to 250 meters (0.155 miles).
This keyless repeater consists of two units or Repeaters 1 and 2:
- Repeater 1 should be placed close to the car, is small in size and is made in the body of a power bank. In addition, Block A implements a 3D search for a signal from a car, which makes it easy to find a signal and open and start the car in a matter of seconds.
- Repeater 2 should be placed next to the Smart Key, has an internal antenna that allows it to be placed at a distance of 4-7 meters from the Smart Key. In addition to the internal antenna, you can also buy an external antenna, which will increase the range to 7-20 meters (the range is different on different keys, so it is generally accepted that the average range with an additional external antenna is 15 meters).
Relay Attack 3D Ghost 250M is equipped with a pre-amplifier of the standard key transmitter, which allows you to increase the range of the key itself to 25-30 meters.
The system can work with 96% of all keyless entry/go systems – the highest figure on the market!
How does the Keyless Entry/Go system work?
In order for the car’s security system to be unlocked and the owner to gain access to the car, the original smart key must be successfully authorized in the vicinity of the car. In most cases, a certain trigger action is required to start the authorization process – usually it is enough to simply pull the car door handle or make some tactile contact with the door handle. The trigger action activates the sensors and the car’s security system starts the authorization process. A request signal is sent from the car to its native smart key. The car sends its request signal from a distance of no more than 2-3 meters, this distance was not chosen by chance, it was done so that the car can be opened and the engine can be started only when the owner is near the car. Thus, only when the owner approaches the car, performs a trigger action and the car, using two-way communication between the car and its original smart key, determines that this person is the authorized user, only then will the car unlock the security system. The doors are open, the owner has access to the interior of the car.
However, to start the engine, a similar authorization is required again, only this time the trigger action is the engine start button (START/STOP ENGINE). The first and second authorization processes happen so quickly that the car owner simply does not notice. For the car owner, it looks as if you walked up to the car and it immediately opened, you pressed the start button and the car immediately started. This is what Keyless Go/Entry is all about; everything happens very quickly, very conveniently and very safely.
This Keyless Entry/Go system is very convenient; for example, you can open the car without taking your digital smart key out of your pocket. Also, the Keyless Go system allows you to turn off or start the engine without physically using a regular ignition key, using a remote signal from a smart key.
A “smart key” is an electronic access and authorization system for the car owner that allows you to quickly and automatically unlock/lock the door, turn off/start the engine, and even lock the steering column. (To do this, the car owner must press a special button).
The main advantage and feature of a smart key is its convenience. You don’t even have to remove the key to open the car. If you know where the buttons are, you can press them without taking the key out of your pocket. When you come within range of the sensors that read the key’s data, the car automatically unlocks the doors and starts the engine, if desired.
The distance the smart key can send its signal to the car is different from the distance the car’s sensors can send the signal. If the car sends its signal to a maximum of 2-3 meters, the smart key sends a signal to a maximum of 250 meters (provided there is no external interference, line of sight and a high battery charge in the smart key). This is done so that the car owner can control some functions of the car from a distance, for example, close windows and doors if he did not do so immediately when leaving the car.
If we compare smart keys and old metal door keys in terms of security, smart keys win again because without the smart key itself, it is many times more difficult to open a car door than a regular lock without a metal key. These ordinary old locks have been opened by car mechanics in many different ways, too many to list, and often the door locks have failed, requiring a complete replacement of the lock.
The Keyless Entry/Go system has become a good modern and reliable replacement. Now, not everyone can open a car door, and the technologies that can help cost incredible amounts of money and are not available for purchase in person. Today you have to face certain risks when buying such technologies on the Internet. In addition, you must be able to handle modern technologies, because they also offer very difficult methods of application.
How does a keyless repeater – Relay Attack 3D Ghost 250M work?
This device allows you to unlock the car and start the engine. This device allows you to increase the distance from the car to the smart key up to 250 meters and in the opposite direction from the smart key to the car also up to 250 meters! In this case the physical contact with the Smart Key is not required, everything is done by the keyless repeater – Relay Attack 3D Ghost 250M!
Relay Attack 3D Ghost 250M consists of two devices – a small and a large repeater – for the sake of simplicity we will use the term simply in the following text: Repeater 1 and Repeater 2.
Let’s take a look at how Relay Attack 3D Ghost 250M works. So what do we know, what are the input data? It is necessary to take into account the fact that the car sends an authorization request signal at a distance of no more than 2-3 meters; accordingly, the smart key must be within this distance (2-3 meters), otherwise the key will not receive the authorization request signal and will not be able to send it back a response signal confirming the authorization. But in our example, the smart key is much further away, the key is at the maximum allowed distance of 250 meters from the car and in an inaccessible place – in the pocket of the car owner. The task is to open and start the car without the owner’s knowledge. We start preparations, you need to place Repeater 1 near the car, we will place Repeater 1 at a distance of 20-40 cm from the driver’s door handle. This distance was not chosen by chance, because we need to perform a trigger action to activate the sensors and send an authorization request signal. A trigger action is a specific tactile touch on a car door handle; many handles have sensors installed on the front or inside of the handle, so in most cases simply grasping the door handle as if it were opening is sufficient. The car sends its signal 2-3 meters in an attempt to find its original Smart Key, but then Repeater 1 comes into play and receives this signal.
At this stage Repeater 1 performs 5 main functions:
1. Imitates a Smart Key for a car, creating a technological illusion that the original Smart Key is near the car and that it was the Smart Key that received the authorization request signal from the car;
2. Receive an authorization request signal from the car;
3. Clean the signal from unnecessary noise and interference;
4. Amplify this request signal;
5. Signal transmission over long distance (up to 250 meters) to repeater 2.
Repeater 2 should be placed near the smart key, and since the smart key is placed in the car owner’s trouser pocket, then Repeater 2 should be near the car owner. The permissible distance from Repeater 2 to the smart key without using an additional external antenna is 4-7 meters. If an additional external antenna is used, the distance increases to 10-20 meters from the smart key. Repeater 2 takes on the following functions
1. Receiving an authorization request signal from Repeater 1;
2. Cleaning the signal from interference and noise;
3. Signal amplification;
4. Simulation of a car near the smart key;
5. Sending a request signal to the smart key.
The smart key receives a request signal from Repeater 2. At this stage, the smart key performs the following functions:
1. Reception of an authorization request signal;
2. Checking and processing this signal;
3. Sending a signal confirming authorization directly to the car.
It is important to note that the smart key, having received a signal from Repeater 2, does not see any difference when receiving the signal; by all indications, this signal was sent by the car and that means it is nearby.
In the reverse order, the signal confirming authorization is returned independently without the use of Repeaters 1 and 2. The smart key is capable of sending a signal to the car at a maximum distance of 250 meters in the absence of external interference and the smart key’s battery is high. Precisely because a smart key is not always able to send a signal to its maximum possible distance, it is customary to use average values for operation of 100-150 meters for all multi-brand repeaters.
The car receives a response confirming authorization from the Smart Key and immediately unlocks the security system, allowing you to open the doors and enter the car.
To start the car engine, you must go through the authorization process again. Only this time the trigger action is not the door handle, but the “START/STOP ENGINE” button. The car again sends a request to the Smart Key through Repeater 1 and 2. The Smart Key receives this signal, which comes in exactly the same way, and sends back an acknowledgement directly to the car. The car receives this confirmation signal, the dashboard lights up and the engine starts. Now you can drive, the car is sure that its owner is in the cabin.
Operating Distance Chart:
- The distance from A to B from the driver’s door handle (where the sensors are installed) to the small block (Repeater 1) should be within 20-40 cm;
- The distance from B to C is the distance between Repeaters 1 and 2. The distance between repeaters must be at least 40 meters! In line of sight, the recommended working distance is 150-200 meters;
- Distance C-D is the distance between the large unit (Repeater 2) and the Smart Key. This distance should not be less than 1 meter and not more than 8 meters (depending on the type of key and the battery charge in the key). By using an additional external antenna, the C-D range will increase significantly to 12-20 meters! Using the example of a Toyota LC200 car, the native smart key will be available in the field of view of Repeater 2 with an external antenna connected at a distance of 10-20 meters (depending on external interference, radio noise and other obstacles in the path of the radio signal).
- The distance from D to A varies from 50 to 250 meters, depending on how far the Smart Key can send its radio signal for the car to receive it. This depends on the key itself, external interference, obstacles in the way and the Smart Key’s battery level. Average working distance 100-150 meters

This support sheet does not contain a complete list of the brands our device works with! This is a clear example of the four modes and which brand groups belong to which modes. We have prepared the simplest control system available on the market so that you can easily determine the mode yourself. For example, Mode 1 is only for TOYOTA, LEXUS, SUBARU, and Mode 3 (FBS3, FBS4) is only for AUDI, MERCEDES-BENZ, JEEP. Mode 2 is the largest multi-make mode available on the market. More than 70% of all vehicles fall under this mode and this mode works with all vehicles with Keyless Go/Entry system. Mode 4 – unique mode; we are the first to develop a special mode for Chinese brands and also the first device for Chinese brands. With Chinese cars came many new and unusual developments in the field of automotive security systems, which we researched and developed a separate mode specifically for Chinese security functions. Many manufacturers claim that their devices work with Chinese cars because they have the same Keyless Go system as everyone else, but this is not true, they are deceiving you, and in practice these devices do not work! Be careful when choosing a device for Chinese brands. At the moment we have not seen a single device, except ours, specifically designed for Chinese cars and their security systems!
Description of Device Blocks (Repeater 1 and Repeater 2)
Multi-brand Keyless Repeater Relay Attack 3D Ghost 250M consists of two units/blocks:
- Small Unit/Block (Repeater 1)
- Large Unit/Block (Repeater 2)
REPEATER 1 – small block
The small unit is made in a power bank case, has quite small and convenient dimensions, and is also easy to use. Weight is about 220 grams, total battery charging time is about 2 hours. Continuous operating time: 3 hours. (Enough for 4 days of work if used wisely). There is protection against overcharging and system overheating. Also protected against moisture. This keyless repeater unit is quite strong, but you need to handle it with care, press the buttons lightly, do not push them. Most failures are the result of careless use.
Dimensions: 8 x 17 x 2 cm (WxHxD);
The small unit (Repeater 1) should be placed near the driver’s door at a distance of 20 to 40 cm.

- The microUSB connector is a connector for the charger (we recommend using the original
charger as the charger should not exceed 5 volts, 1 amp. If you use another charger, especially with fast charging, the device will be damaged) - LED 1 – Power on mode indicator 1-4
- Programming connector. Used by our technical support for software updates (Please do not use this connector!)
- Small device on/off button
- Type-C connector is not used
- LED 2 – signal received from the vehicle

- PIN KEY – the button on the front of Repeater 1 is shaped like a lightning bolt.This button has two important functions: entering a PIN code and selecting a mode.
-
Enter a PIN Code
PIN code entry is limited (5-15 times), if you enter the PIN code incorrectly, the device will be locked, this is done for your security. Of course we can unlock your device, but this is a paid service. The PIN code is only entered on the small unit (Repeater 1). The PIN code is a two-digit number “xx” consisting of numbers from 1 to 9 inclusive. The numbers are determined by pressing, i.e. if you press the PIN Key button 1 time, it will be the number 1, if you press it 6 times, it will be the number 6. According to this principle, you must enter your PIN code – a two-digit number. After entering each number of the PIN code, the LED will blink confirming that this number has been applied and you can enter the next ones. For example, let’s assume that the PIN code is “32”, we start to enter the PIN code using the PIN key – press, press, press, wait (wait for the LED to flash 1 time) – it flashes, which means that the first number of the PIN code has been applied, we start to enter the second number of the PIN code – press, press, wait (if everything is entered correctly, the LEDs will light up and go out one by one, and so on 4 times) – the device is unlocked.
Mode Selection
The system has 4 modes, you can see them above in the SUPPORT LIST (by device mode) section. The mode is selected immediately after entering the PIN code; after the device is unlocked and the LEDs flash 4 times in succession, you can select the mode. Selecting a mode works in the same way as entering a PIN code, the only difference being that we now have to enter a one-digit number “x” instead of a two-digit number “xx” as in the PIN code. There are 4 modes, so you must enter a number from 1 to 4 inclusive. For example, we want to select mode 2, it is also called “Multi-brand+”, which means we enter with the PIN key – press, press, wait – if everything is entered correctly, then “LED 1” will blink on the small block (Repeater 1). The number of blinks of “LED 1” depends on the selected mode. For example, if Mode 4 is selected, “LED 1” will flash 4 times, if Mode 3 is selected, “LED 1” will flash 3 times, and so on. On the large block (Repeater 2), “LED 1” will also flash, indicating that the unit is ready for operation.
REPEATER 2 – large block
The weight of a large unit is about 1 kg, the total battery charging time is about 2 hours. Protection against overcharging and system overheating is built in.
The operating time is about 12 hours or about 7 days for short-term use. The material of the device is made of high quality plastic, which has high impact resistance, heat resistance and even chemical resistance, but is not harmful and does not emit substances harmful to the body. The body of the large block keyless repeater is different from anything else on the market; it is comfortable and reliable, and most importantly, it is not afraid of falls, shaking and moderate shocks. We set high standards for the quality of assembly and components used. We use only high quality components; we have developed a unique circuit design that, in addition to high performance, has a number of protective elements and internal protection from external factors. That’s why our devices are characterized by high quality and durability!
Dimensions: 15 x 4 x 20 cm (WxHxD);
The large unit (Repeater 2) must be located near the smart key at a distance of at least 1 meter and no more than 8 meters from the smart key (depending on the type of key and the charge of the battery in the key). The optimal position would be for the Relay Attack Unit (Repeater 2) within 4-5 meters from the digital smart key. When using an additional external antenna, the range of a large keyless repeater unit (Repeater 2) will significantly increase to 10-20 meters.
